Suddenly I see

When I had to get reading glasses about a year ago, I had no idea where to start. I didn’t really know what shape flattered my face, and I had no idea what style I wanted. Thankfully glasses have been getting more stylish in past years, so there are plenty to choose from!

Warby Parker was kind of a godsend because I could try on frames I thought I’d love, but in the privacy of my own home. Getting to wear them around for an hour with fake lenses helped me figure out if they were comfortable, or if they’d be sliding off my nose every two seconds. (I ended up going with the Newton.)

A couple of months later, I realized I really needed a second pair so I didn’t have to tote them back and forth from work. I didn’t want to spend quite as much on a second pair I wouldn’t be wearing all of the time, and I realized there are tons of great discount sites to get amazing frames. I ended up getting a great pair from Coastal for just $50 (these leopard specked frames – sold out, but similar here).
