As spring is my favorite season, I’ve always been partial to Easter. It probably has something to do with my birthday following shortly after, or the fresh warm weather we usually have for the holiday. It tends to be among the first days you can really wear pastels and white, as well as lighter fabrics and more skin-baring cuts. I pulled together some favorite Easter looks in a few favorite prints and fabrics – shop the looks below!
Hellooooo, spring. A kate spade new york surprise sale on the first day of spring is the perfect way to kick off the season.
Green is easy to leave out of your wardrobe. Mint is a bit too pastel, kelly green a bit too bright. If it weren’t for the pretty olive hue I love, I might not have anything to wear for St. Patty’s Day.
I know the weather is still bitterly cold, but I have vacation on the brain! For that reason, I’m doing a little giveaway to get everyone into the spirit of warmer weather.
I recently found out I needed to update my prescription – from a basic reading prescription to one that covers both near- and far-sightedness. I was eager to do some research into the best frames to buy for a bargain.
French style is so enviously effortless. It seems to be the epitome of throwing together an easy outfit without a thought, always having the perfect pieces to look comfortable while always put together.
Happy hump day! Sometimes a little shopping is the best way to get through a mid-week slump. That’s why I pulled together a bunch of finds that are all under $50 – and are perfect for getting yourself into a happier mindset.
I can’t really explain the deep happiness an unexpected sunny day brings me. I love it. I smile more, I feel active and eager to get up and move. There are few things as nice as sitting in the sun eating lunch, escaping the confines of the office for just a little while! Making it even better is being able to wear a light, breezy dress while I do it.
Happy March! If you’re a regular reader, you’ll notice that I’ve taken the past couple of months off of blogging. A job switch, a big break-up and a move back into the city meant that I had a lot of other things going on, and they weren’t things that could be pushed aside or powered through. Exhaustion takes its toll and it’s good to be able to know when you need to cut something out of your everyday routine. While I would’ve loved to have kept up writing this blog, a break was exactly what I needed to come back refreshed.
There’s nothing like the first day back from a vacation to make work seem absolutely impossible. I know I can’t wait to put on a comfy pair of pajamas that will make me feel like it’s the holidays all over again! No matter your style, there are options for everyone – and all for a price you can love.
