Latest buys

My style is in full on summer mode. We’ve had some nice weather, but this weekend the temps are bumping up to the 90s, and I’m very ready to wear nothing but casual cutoffs and sandals! That has inspired my purchases as of late – I bought one pair of the Levi’s Wedgie Shorts and I’m cutoff obsessed. Read on for my latest buys (and bargains)!

Brandy Melville

Sasha Tank

Usual Size: Small
Size Bought: One Size
Original Price: $28.00
I Paid: $28.00

On my visit to California, I did a bit of shopping and stopped into Brandy Melville, which appeared to be a very LA brand with playful embroidered tees and other basics. Little did I know it was one size fits all, and mostly for teens. Oops! However good clothes are good clothes no matter where you shop them, and I picked out this cropped tank that will go perfectly with skinny jeans for an easy outfit.

Abercrombie & Fitch

Boyfriend Shorts

Usual Size: 6 or 29
Size Bought: 27
Original Price: $58.00
I Paid: $20.00
How: All shorts were on sale for $20.00

Love these shorts! They’re flattering with the high-but-not-too-high waist, and a bit of a looser fit. The denim is soft and feels a bit worn in a good way, so they feel like you’ve had them for years. I’m also very into the distressed detail, as there are rips in all of the right places. I had to size down 2 sizes from my usual, so be aware of that!

Snakeskin-Printed Leather Slides

Usual Size: 8.5
Size Bought: 9
Original Price: $68.00
I Paid: $43.35
How: Coupon code on website

I wanted these the second I saw them on the website, and they didn’t disappoint. I’m usually between an 8.5 and 9 in J.Crew shoes, and these ended up needing to be sized up so my fit foot in comfortably. They’re easy to wear and, despite appearances, stay on my foot nicely! New favorite sandal.

Denim Cut-Off Shorts

Usual Size: 6 or 29
Size Bought: 29
Original Price: $68.00
I Paid: $23.99
How: On sale and used 20% off coupon code from website

I haven’t had white shorts that I love in a while, so I was excited to get these in the mail. They stretch just the right amount, and the inseam is a bit longer than your average short-short. These will definitely be heavy in my rotation for the next couple of months.
