I’m going back to the basics with my beauty purchases this week! I have some drugstore finds that are comparable to some of my designer favorites, and their prices make them so necessary. I’ve found an amazing new under-eye concealer that will hide all evidence of a late night, a CC cream that’s light yet covers, and a couple of new brow products I now can’t live without.
Visible Lift CC Eye Concealer
This stuff is good. I love it like I haven’t loved a drugstore concealer in quite some time. I had been using NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, which I love, but has a price tag behind it. This find from L’Oréal goes on as a rollerball and has great coverage without looking caked on, or creasing under my eyes. My new forever concealer!
Again, I was looking for a more cost-effective product than my beloved Dr. Jart+ Black Label Detox BB Beauty Balm that rings in at $36 a tube. This Almay CC Cream is the perfect replacement. It is a bit lighter, which works well for my oilier summer skin. I love the formula and can see the tube lasting quite some time. Definitely worth every penny.
Brow Drama Shaping Chalk Powder
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I received this complimentary from Influenster. I always love to try a new brow product, as I haven’t found one I completely love. This is an interesting powder with a great applicator that fills out my brows flawlessly! I love how easy it is to use, and how instant the impact.
EyeStudio Brow Precise Micro Pencil
I also received this complimentary from Influenster, to be used in conjunction with the Shaping Chalk Powder. As far as pencils go, this one is ultra-fine and is great for adding precise detail to brows! I’ve used a number of brands of eyeliners and this one is by far the finest. I will be interested to see how long it lasts, but for now it’s a great product for a great price.
