Accessories are one of the major swaps I make out as seasons change. I may have a few dresses that can carry over into autumn with the right jacket, or silk blouses that work just as well under a sweater, but I certainly can’t carry a white bag or sandals into the season.
Burgundy is far and away one of my favorite shades. It works across the board, from beauty to fashion, as an elegant and classic color. As the popularity of the Stuart Weitzman Highland Boot reached peak popularity last year, I realized that the color I adored the most by far was the bordeaux. I’d love to incorporate the color into some of my accessories this season, whether it be a polished pair of flats or a new handbag.
Cognac is a bit more of a classic hue – it’s extremely versatile seeing as it’s a neutral, and it adds a touch of warmth to any outfit. The cognac leather riding boot is quite the staple for the fall, and this leather pair is only $100. I love the thought of an everyday watch or crossbody that I can happily use on a regular basis.
