I haven’t done a ton of beauty shopping lately, mostly sticking to the routine items. However those become favorites for a reason, so I’m sharing a few favorites that will fit right into your everyday beauty routine!
I’m going back to the basics with my beauty purchases this week! I have some drugstore finds that are comparable to some of my designer favorites, and their prices make them so necessary. I’ve found an amazing new under-eye concealer that will hide all evidence of a late night, a CC cream that’s light yet covers, and a couple of new brow products I now can’t live without.
New month, new beauty finds. With pool parties and beach weekends approaching fast, it’s so important to have a nice waterproof mascara on hand. For vacations, I like to throw on a bit of powder, curl my lashes, and do a layer of mascara to keep myself looking fresh faced and not like I just woke up. That being said, I do have a horror story of an inexpensive waterproof mascara leading to my eyelashes falling out (yikes!), so I’m happy to have found a brand I love and can trust.
We have a little over a month left in spring, and I can’t believe how quickly it’s gone by! I always seem to rush this season along, eager for summer to arrive. This month, I’m enjoying finding some good go-to products that will last me through summer. Something to keep my blonde just that, a new go-to body wash (that is a total steal), and moisturizer that will do big things for burnt out (literally) skin.
My favorite month is upon us, and the weather is finally being less windy-freezing and more breezy-balmy. What’s not to love? As the weather changes, so do our beauty needs – less focus on moisturizing, and more on getting that perfectly dewy look. Shop a few of my favorite beauty purchases for April.
While I haven’t been big on buying too many new products lately, there are a few that I’ve found (or re-purchased) and really adore. When I like something, I’m so loyal to it! It may be fun to try out new products from time to time, but there’s nothing like having the go-to ones you love. This mascara is a definite “forever” find that I can’t ever see myself tiring of. Read on for some fun buys (that won’t cost a fortune).
Certain products are just worth the splurge. While I rarely buy a dress or a pair of shoes at full price, beauty products are just something you will rarely get a good deal on. I admit that I like doing a bit of cost analysis – how long is this going to last me? and how much is it? – when it comes to buying makeup and other beauty products. A face cream that may be $40, but will last 6 months. A lipstick I’ll mostly wear on special occasions or nights out should probably have a more reserved price.
Fragrances can be difficult to gift, unless you know someone’s signature scent. A pick I do love? Rollerballs.
The weather has been much cooler the past few days. I’ve been reaching for my winter coat more than I’d like (even though I do adore it), and my skin and hair are definitely noticing the extra cold breezes. Thankfully I’ve found some beauty finds to help cope.
I got a few amazing deluxe samples of anti-aging skincare products from Sephora, and they couldn’t have come at a better time. With the weather cooling down, the minor wrinkles I do have are showing themselves more than usual.
