Back at it

I hope everyone had an amazing holiday! I had such a fun time celebrating with friends and family. It made it really hard to come back for work these few days between Christmas and New Year’s Eve! (Especially after the plethora of sweets I ate over the holiday. 👀)

I definitely got out of my workout routine in the past week or two, so I’m eager to get back on a roll. I’m going on a ski trip in January, and I want to be as strong as possible to give myself the best chance at success. (I’ve never skied, but I have pretty terrible balance and I feel like working my legs a little extra over these next few weeks couldn’t hurt!)

I got a new pair of running shoes for Christmas (still available in pink!) that I absolutely love, and I can’t wait to get some good use out of them. I’m definitely going to be ramping up my workout just in time for the new year’s resolutioners to start rolling into my gym, so things might start getting a little crowded soon. Aside from my gym workouts, I downloaded the Sweat app by Kayla Itsines, which has amazing guides for at-home workouts as well as healthy meal ideas. It’s a great go-to when you’re feeling in a rut! A few new pieces to exercise in never hurt, either.
