Nowadays, there’s an app for just about everything. While I am a lover of the standard Apple apps, and the basic social media choices, I’m here to share my favorite apps that make my life a whole lot easier in the day-to-day.
This is a fun app that allows you to add quotes and text over images, and there are a ton of gorgeous font and layout options! Their images they provide are very high-resolution, so they look professional and are great for posting to social media or blogs.
Tracking calories, workouts and weight has never been easier than with this app. I like that it allows you to set your own goals, gives you pop-up reminders when you’re eating something healthy, and has a UPC scanning function that makes finding those obscure foods you love all the easier. Even better, you have the option of having friends or keeping it to yourself, and you can leave your food diary public or change the settings to private. The workouts have standard suggestions for how many calories you may have burned during a workout (e.g. 30 minutes of weight training is about 96 calories!), which is encouraging for those of us who like seeing progress in numbers.
I use this every day to track my purchases. I know the banking apps do that for you, but I like to have an instant handle on my purchases! It helps to make me think through everything I buy (less impulse purchases!) and pay attention to my finances. It’s super easy to use, and you don’t have to link a bank account. You simply add transactions as you make them, and there different settings throughout that you can use, like different accounts.
This is a new favorite of mine! You can take a video or series of photos and turn it into a gif. It’s very easy to do, and you can speed up the series or slow it down as needed. You can also make it high-resolution, or do a smaller version that takes up less space.
