A new fragrance

When the seasons change, a few key beauty picks tend to change for me as well. I swap out my heavy hydrating cleanser that I use in the dryer months for something more lightweight, I use a lighter foundation rather than a BB cream, and I tend to favor softer pinks for my lips. A final item I like to switch out? My fragrance.

In the winter, warmer, heavier scents seem more appropriate. However spring seems to call for something a bit lighter and more floral – a change in scent marking a change in attitude. In years past I’ve loved Miss Dior, a sweet, light smell that isn’t too overpowering, and LAVANILA’s Vanilla Grapefruit rollerball is perfect when I’m on the go and want to add a light fragrance.

Tip: I love going to beauty counters when I’m at department stores or shopping at Sephora to test out a perfume to see how long it lasts, and how I like the scent over time! Purchasing rollerballs also makes for a good way to try out a scent without committing to an entire bottle.

This year, I’m eager to try a new scent that I’ll love for years to come. What is your go-to fragrance? Here are a few of my contenders:
